Our Learning Focus for the Week of September 6th - 9th
Math: This week we will continue addition and subtraction strategies within 20. We will focus on Making Ten, Decomposing/Balancing Equations.
Writing: We will continue our unit on Personal Narratives. We will focus on making revisions to our Small Moment pieces.
Phonics: We will practice the Long A Digraph Syllable Pattern
train, stay, eight, sprain, tray, freight, complain, obey, raisin
We will also learn about Collective Nouns.
Social Studies: Georgia Regions (The Appalachian Plateau, The Valley and Ridge Region, The Blue Ridge Mountains, The Piedmont, and The Coastal Plains.)
Science: We will continue to investigate changes in matter. (solids, liquids, gases)
STEM: Trial 2 for the Place Value Marshmallow Challenge
Reading/Language Arts: We will continue to learn about events within a story. We will also explore problem/solution relationships within stories.

Rally Kickball Fundraiser
Tritt teachers will be competing against Mount Bethel’s teachers in a friendly game of kickball to raise money for the Rally Childhood Cancer Foundation! Please support this great cause and our very own Tritt teachers! The game will be held at Walton High School on September 20th at 5pm. I hope to see you there!
