Writing: Students have already chosen a topic and researched their second informational topic. This week they will practice putting their research into their own words and completing their rough draft.
Social Studies: We will finish with Mary Musgrove, Tomochichi, and James Oglethorpe, and begin to explore ways in which goods and services are allocated.
• Goods and services are allocated by price, majority rule, contests, force, sharing, lottery, command, first-come first-served, personal characteristics and other methods.
• Money has become the means to obtain goods and services because it is easier and fairer to use than bartering.
