Have a wonderful week with your children! I cannot wait to hear all about the fun they have. I'm sure it will fuel their small moment stories for weeks to come! :)
Mrs. Carla Teuchert
Here is what we are learning the week of October 2nd:
Math: We will continue money word problems (pennies, nickels, and dimes), and we will review bar graphs and picture graphs.
Reading/Language Arts: We will review key details in a text using who, what, when, why, how questions when we read. We will also review
context clues and use them to understand the meaning of words and phrases.
Writing: We will continue to strengthen our small moment stories by using mentor texts and revisions.
Social Studies: We will review the major rivers in the state of Georgia. We will continue to look at why we need rules and laws, and we will identify elected officials at local, state, and national levels.
Health: We will learn about healthy eating choices and how what we eat can affect our bodies in many ways.
September 25th - 29th Fall Break (Schools will be closed.)
